1. Information we collect

Muxlyve only collects the information necessary to provide the service:

• Email address (provided when authenticating with Google or purchasing a license).
• Device identifier, used exclusively to manage license activations.
• Payment information processed by Freemius; Muxlyve does not store card data.

2. Use of information

We use your information to:

• Activate and validate your Muxlyve license.
• Send you the purchase confirmation email.
• Handle technical support when you request it.

3. Sharing information

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties, except with the providers necessary to operate the service (Freemius for payments, Neon for the database, Vercel for infrastructure).

4. Google/YouTube data (OAuth)

If you sign in with Google, we receive your email and profile name to identify you in the app. If you also connect your YouTube account, we use the read-only youtube.readonly scope solely to:

• Read your YouTube channel's name and avatar, to show which account the app is connected to.
• Fetch the RTMP URL and key of your active live stream, so you don't have to copy it manually from YouTube Studio.
• Show your YouTube stream's live chat inside the app (read-only).
• Show your stream's live viewer count.

All access is read-only: Muxlyve never posts, modifies, or deletes anything in your YouTube account. This data is used solely to auto-fill configuration and display information within the app itself — it is never stored on our servers or shared with third parties. We do not use this data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI or machine-learning models.

5. Data retention

We keep your data while your license is active. You can request the deletion of your information by writing to [email protected].

6. Security

License keys are stored encrypted (HMAC-SHA256). We use HTTPS across all communications.
