How is it different from a cloud service?

Services like Restream or Castr run on a third-party server: you send them your signal, and they forward it. Muxlyve runs on your own computer — you generate the signal in your streaming software (OBS, Streamlabs, XSplit, vMix, or anything else that speaks RTMP), Muxlyve receives it locally and forwards it to each platform directly. It never passes through a third-party server.
